For apartment companies with 50 or more units
Founding partner program
We're looking for 5 apartment companies to run the first SaferResident pilots with us. You get a lower price for a long time and a say in what we build. We get honest feedback and real numbers.
What you get
- A 90 day pilot at half price on 1 to 3 properties: $0.75 per unit per month. If fewer than half of your residents finish within the 90 days, you don't pay for the pilot.
- The price locked for 3 years after the pilot: $1.50 per unit per month, billed yearly, $75 monthly minimum.
- We do the setup. Send us the resident export from your property software and a photo of the water shutoff for each unit type. We load it, you check it, residents get their invites.
- A report every 30 days: completion by building, how many residents found their shutoff and tested their smoke alarm, and the problems residents reported.
- A direct line to the founder and a real say in what we build next.
What we ask
- Start the buildings a few weeks apart, so the later ones work as a comparison.
- Share the number of water damage work orders for the pilot buildings, before and during the pilot. Counts only, no resident data.
- If the results are good, a short reference. If they aren't, tell us why.
How it works
- A 15 minute call to pick the buildings.
- We set it up within a week.
- Residents get a personal invite and reminders. Nobody on your team has to chase them.
- Reports at 30, 60 and 90 days.
- After 90 days you decide. No hardware to remove and nothing to cancel if you stop.
The plain terms
- Residents never pay anything. You choose the reward for finishing, or none.
- We invoice the pilot at the end of the 90 days, and only if at least half of the residents in the pilot buildings finished. No credit card.
- You can make the orientation part of move-in for new leases and renewals. Check your local rules first. Current residents can't usually be required mid lease, so most companies offer them a small reward instead.
- Resident data stays in the United States and is never sold. See our privacy notice.
- SaferResident adds to your building's safety systems. It doesn't replace them, and it isn't insurance.
